 Game Structure / Rules
CC Riders Soccer Club 2011
CSA National Game Structure for Under 6

 1.          Number of players on the field 4 versus 4 - No GOALIES
 2.          Maximum team size        8 to 10 Players 
 3.          Mixed gender  
 4.          Game duration & substitutions 2 halves of 20-25 minutes (or less) with substitutions during stoppages
 5.          Ball size 3
 6.          Field size 18 m x 28 m (20 x 30 yards - marked off by coaches' steps) 
 7.          Goal size 8 feet x 4 feet (Goal area 4 yards marked off in a semi-circle) 
 8.          Off sides NO
 9.          Throw-ins Kick-ins for out-of-bounds - done by players or coach 
 10.        Corner kicks NO 
 11.        Referees NO - all rules applied by coaches 
 12.        Free Kicks / Goal Kicks NO - all restarts done by coaches 
 13.        Encourage all kids NOT to use their hands
 14.        If players do re-starts, defending team should be moved back appropriately (i.e., goal kicks – to half
 15.        Out of bounds – 10 yards (throw-in position or fouls)
